As an Indian, I’d say NO.

They know, India will never attack China first. They also know that like them, India also will have its economy at stacke if a war ensues. Most of all, both of them also know that if they fight, only outsiders will win.

Let’s first focus on some of the reasons for which China is not worried about India:

Military is superior, comparable to US and Russia (may be). China is to India is like India is to Pakistan. This comparison will be easy for you to understand
Economy: Much larger than Indian economy. Similar to the above comparison
Manufacturing: Quick with higher output ratio. And has a global market penetration
Duplication capabilities: In manufacturing you don’t always need to invent the wheel

Military: Experienced in warfare compared to China. Thanks to one of our neighbors
Manufacturing: In general people have the perception that Chinese goods are of low quality compared to the Indian counterpart
Services: IT/ Software industry. English is one of the official language in India, because of which Indians have a more penetration in the services sector.
Innovation: China majorly focuses on copying the products from other countries. Starting from pin to fighter plane. India on the other hand focuses on innovation like in the case of LCA Tejas
